Blackberry Iced Tea Latte



Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags (or your preferred tea)
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries (plus more for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup honey (adjust for sweetness)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:

Brew the Tea:
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool.
Prepare the Blackberry Syrup:
In another saucepan, combine the fresh blackberries and honey. Lightly mash the blackberries to release their juices. Add 1/2 cup of water and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes until the blackberries break down.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove solids, creating a smooth blackberry syrup.
Assemble the Iced Tea Latte:
Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cooled black tea, followed by the blackberry syrup (adjust to taste).
Top with milk and gently stir to combine.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh blackberries and mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
