Cranberry Meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (14 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.
- Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until smooth and heated through.
- Add the cooked meatballs to the saucepan and gently toss to coat them in the cranberry sauce.
- Let simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy!
